Option-G

Option-G worked with the agency Wexley School for Girls in Seattle on the 2 month program for MSN Music at HOB. We created drum kits and guitar cases to be placed in every venue. The point was to brand MSN seamlessly into the House of Blues interior and to do so in a non corporate way. To do so, Option-G took new kits and dismantled them down to the last screw. We then rusted each piece and put them back together to make it look old. We covered them in old blues record covers, distressed paint and metal flashing then applied glitter and beads. For the guitar cases we applied stencils, broken glass and glitter and hung them on the walls as an art piece.
